CALL FOR A CONSULTATION (440) 313-1067

What should I expect during the consultation?
First of all, be sure to wear makeup to the consultation as you would like it to be permanently applied. Consultations begin with a review of paperwork and a health history. The desired procedure will be discussed and the color and tone of the skin will be analyzed for proper color selection. The consultation is limited to 30 minutes.

How long will the procedure take?
Each procedure will take between 1.5 and 2 hours (3 to 4 hours on full face-brows, eyes, lips). Contact lens wearers need to remove their lenses at home and need to arrive with glasses before the procedure. Contact can not be worn for at least 5 days.

Does the procedure hurt?
Some patients may experience more discomfort than others. Various parts of the face are more sensitive. Eyebrows for instance are much less sensitive than lips. Good topical anesthetics are used to minimize discomfort. Any blood thinning agents such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Multi-Vitamins, Vitamin E need to be avoided for at least one week before any permanent makeup procedure. These agents might sensitize the procedure area, increase bleeding and will compromise pigment retention.

What about sterilization?
Only single-use, sterile needles are used. All other equipment is either discarded after use or sterilized. All guidelines are stricly followed in accordance with CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and our facility has been inspected and is therefore approved by the local department of health.

What colors should I choose?
There is a right color for everyone. We take into consideration your natural skin color, hair and eye color. Bring in the colors you have been using, or the colors you prefer.

Will I need to take off work after the procedure?
Each person heals differently; therefore the time you need may be a bit different. Some swelling after the procedure is normal and might last for 24 to 48 hours. Ointment has to be worn on the procedure area for at least 5-7 days. No additional makeup can be worn until the procedure area is fully healed.
